Payment Options

Two secure payment options are provided: Credit card and bank transfer. An invoice will be sent to you from Square (CEM’17 financial agent), and you will have the option either to remit the payment via Square’s secure site or make a bank transfer.

  • Credit Card: If you prefer to remit the payment with a credit card, Square will provide a secure payment method. We will not see, receive, or keep your credit card information. Major credit cards are accepted. All charges are made in US Dollars. If a currency conversion is required, that will be processed by your card issuer, not by Square or CEM’17.

  • Bank Transfer: When you receive the invoice, if you prefer to remit the payment via wire transfer, please contact the CEM’17 Secretariat (cemworkshop@gmail.com) and the relevant bank transfer information will be sent to you. CEM’17 has a US-based bank account. It is possible to make international (SWIFT) or domestic (within the US) wire transfers in US Dollars and in a secure manner.

  • Cash: In addition to credit cards and bank transfers, cash payments in US Dollars and in Euros will also be accepted for on-site registrations. This option is available at the standard registration rate for attendees without presenting a paper since the proceedings book is published before the workshop.
Additional Papers: Provided that multiple papers to be presented by the same author are accepted by the Technical Program Committee (TPC) following a rigorous review process, participants may register each additional paper at a special rate of 200 USD (190 Euro).
